Albany Business Systems was founded in 1986 on a single principle - to provide professional, business-oriented products and services to our clientele, and to provide these services with an unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction.

Albany Business Systems has been selling AccountMate products since 1987, is an Elite Business Partner and one of the most well established dealerships in the country. Since its inception, the company has grown and evolved to its current status as one of the premier Value Added Resellers of products from AccountMate Software Corporation.
The sale and support of AccountMate products constitutes 100% of Albany’s product line. The company specializes in all aspects of installation, training, support, and programming for all AccountMate product lines.
Albany Business Systems is an authorized dealer for many strategic AccountMate vertical solutions. These include Web Based ordering systems from AppFinity Software, Inc., Manufacturing Conductor from Tamlin Software, Inc., InfoTrac for AccountMate CRM, Accu-Dart warehouse management systems, and others. The combination of AccountMate and these vertical solutions allow a total solution for all aspects of a business.
John Kane of Albany Business Systems is a former member of the prestigious AccountMate Business Partner Advisory Group. This is a group of six resellers across the country, each serving a 2-year term, who advise AccountMate senior management on issues of interest to the reseller community. His background in manufacturing and business, reinforced by a Master’s Degree from UCLA and 20 years as an AccountMate reseller uniquely qualified him for this group.
The company is consistently a top producer for AccountMate and in 2003 and 2004 won sales awards for outstanding sales. The company was the highest volume reseller in the Western Region for calendar years 2005 and 2006 and ranked 4th nationally in sales in 2005, and 3rd in 2006.
Most reseller organizations are organized strictly around the delivery of technological products and services. These firms are typically started and operated by individuals with either a technical background or an accounting background. This can be an appropriate perspective. However, we believe there is a different and better vision.
